Occupational Health and Safety Policy

For Destek Environmental Health Services, occupational health and safety is not only a legal obligation; it is a core management approach that protects our employees, customers and everyone present in service areas. In field operations such as pest control, insect treatment, disinfection, water tank cleaning and outdoor applications, risks are assessed in advance and the service plan is prepared accordingly.

Our aim is to prevent occupational accidents and work-related illnesses, strengthen a safe working culture, control chemical and biological risks, and deliver every service through trained personnel, suitable equipment and documented processes.

Our core principles

  • Before each service, the site, pest type, application method and environmental conditions are assessed together.
  • Employees are informed about personal protective equipment, chemical safety, equipment use and emergency procedures.
  • Customer, employee, visitor, pet and food safety is considered during application.
  • The maintenance and suitability of equipment are checked regularly.
  • Observations, recommendations and follow-up steps are recorded after each service.

Safe work in field operations

In pest control and disinfection applications, product selection, dosage, application method, ventilation time and safe re-entry are planned carefully. In indoor areas, food, kitchen equipment, textiles, children’s areas and pet contact points are protected. In outdoor areas, wind, rain, environmental sensitivity and non-target organisms are taken into account.

Training and continuous improvement

Our OHS policy develops through regular employee briefing and continuous review of processes. Field observations, customer feedback and service reports are evaluated to create safer and more efficient application standards.

Destek Environmental Health Services is committed to complying with applicable legislation, reducing risks at source, supporting employee participation and continuously improving occupational health and safety performance.
